Digital Media + Social Media
Weep For Civilized Society
My friend Linda sends along the following article: Twitterature: 19 Year-Olds Score Twitter Book Deal.
Emmett Rensin and Alex Aciman successfully sold the rights to the book to Penguin, the premise being that Tweets can refine literature “to its purest form”.
Twitter has a lot going for it. This is not one of those things.

“Twitter has a lot going for it. This is not one of those things.”
LOL!
I was disappointed in the lack of social media behind http://www.twitterature.us/ I shouldn’t say “lack of” because that gives the impression there might be a minute amount. Rather there is simply no social media being used to promote this book right now. As of right now, there is no facebook group or twitter account or blog or even an email list for Twitterature.
Plus given how Twitter is very sensitive to people using the word “twitter” in usernames and real names on the site, it makes me wonder if “Twitterature” will last without a lawsuit.
