Imagination Publishing was honored to accept best in show at the 2011 Association Media and Publishing’s EXCEL awards on Wednesday June 1. Awards included a gold for digital work, and silver and bronze medals for association publishing.
The gold medal went to the Virtual Media Kit for the National Federation of Independent Business’s (NFIB) MyBusiness magazine. Imagination created a video walk-through of NFIB’s virtual media kit to help showcase the rich media features of the website.
“We wanted to create a virtual environment where we could continually add new information, new features and expose those to the advertising decision makers we wanted to reach in order to generate revenues,” said James Meyers, president of Imagination. “The virtual media kit has been successful, showing advertisers what MyBusiness magazine is all about, who the readers are and just creating a much more exciting environment.”
Imagination’s broadcast video department has previously won awards for work with Wells Fargo and the Business Insight Resource Center and the Project Management Institute’s multimedia features.
Imagination also won a silver and bronze for their association magazine publishing work with partners, The Conference Board and the Metals Service Center Institute.
